My name’s Jake, I’m responsible for the illustrations and little characters you can see throughout the Nice Things brand. My illustration alias is Javaknees, I’m occasionally sharing some of my work at ekaj.art and my day job is running the production company Pavilion Works.

Where would you listen to this playlist?

So this playlist is best served between 4-6pm during these winter months. It kicks you off with a little booster before carrying you softly into the end of the day. Would recommend main lights off and warm desk lamps on, that’s my kind of good vibes work environment.

What motivates you?

Honestly, other people, and making great work that I enjoy, bonus points if other people like it too.

What makes you feel nice?

Cooking a good meal, and watching my 15 month old son eat it rather than fling it around the room.
